From his early role as an Assistant Professor at MES Medical College Perinthalmanna to his professorship at Travancore Medical College, Kollam, Dr. Rashed displayed a commitment to medical education. He went on to serve as Principal at Shama Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), bridging the gap between academia and practical medical applications.

Joining Mercy Mission as Chief of Medicines Supply Division during the lockdown, he facilitated the distribution of medicines to the underprivileged. At HBS Hospital, he served as a consultant throughout various Covid-19 waves, offering care to patients from diverse backgrounds. He took a proactive stance against misinformation, debunking myths surrounding Covid-19 treatments.

Recognizing the need for comprehensive and affordable care, he founded Ummeed Deaddiction & Rehab Centre in Bangalore. This state-of-the-art facility embodies his dedication to addressing mental health issues.
