Mohd. Umar Khan

Mohd. Umar Khan is an RCI registered, Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Ummeed Deaddiction And Rehabilitation Centre, Bangalore. With a diverse linguistic background, he is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and English, enabling him to connect with a wide range of clients. Umar’s educational journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Applied Psychology from Jamia Millia Islamia, followed by an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS). His training at NIMHANS provided him with two years of supervised clinical experience, which he has since supplemented with a year of private practice.

As a therapist, Umar primarily employs existential therapy within an integrative framework, drawing on various techniques and ideas from different schools of thought.
